Stamp info & Blog Hop Winners

Hello Everyone!!

It's soo exciting to see that we have 40 new friends here to share smiles with!  Thank you for joining our little group!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

So sorry it's been so quiet here on the blog!  Yumi & Fumi were very busy these past few days.  We just finished up our first stamp convention as Yumi & Fumi Handmade and it was a huge success!!   We reunited with some old friends and made a lot of new ones.  Renate' & I  would like to say Mahalo to everyone that came to see us, and also Mahalo to those of you who asked your friends to come and see us!  Everyone was very excited to see the new stamp line as well as all the other stamp lines we were carrying in our booth.  The overwhelming response was amazing and so many customers as well as other vendors were excited for us.  I think we will make a lot of lasting friends.  Once we get all the pictures together we will post them for all of you to enjoy.

Another big Mahalo and hugs go out to our team, Zach & Masako, and vendors Kathy of Pixie Boutique and Jenny of Sesame Bijoux!  It was great being there with you all this weekend!!  Thanks for a very fun & successful show!  :)

As I mentioned last week, I wanted to share some pictures of the stamps.  There are quite a few pictures, but I hope you will see them and like all the details we took in to account to make using the stamps a bit easier for you.

This first picture is a side view of our stamp, Fumi with Umbrella.  As you can see we use deeply etched red rubber on cling mount.

On the other side you get a suprise!  The stamp's image is on the back and indexed into the cling mount.  The image is the exact replica of the rubber, so now you can see where you are stamping!  See how neatly it's trimmed?  Well we are also proud to say all of our stamps are not only indexed with the image on the back, but they are scroll cut which is great for those of you who don't like to trim your stamps.  We took that out for you. :)   To protect the cling mount we added a piece of acetate to the back.  Easy to peel off and put back on for neat storage purposes.

Here is the stamp on a clear block.  Fits perfectly and you don't have to worry about inking parts of the stamp you don't want to.

Here is a picture of other side.  I inked up the rubber side and did not have any problem figuring out where to stamp beacuse I could see her image already.

Lastly the stamped image...
