Challenge #14 - Multiple Folds

Good morning!!!!

Thanks so much to all that played in the last challenge.  So excited to see some new faces and of course it's always wonderful to see the returners.  We really appreciate all the participation.

Today starts a new bi-weekly challenge here at Yumi and Fumi Handmade!  Yay!!  So what do we have up our sleeves for you this time?  Welllllll.... We thought it would be fun to see how many folds you could create in your project.  There are so many different kinds of folds to choose from: gate-folds, side step folds, Z-folds, diamond folds, too many to list, but you get the picture.  So we'd like to see you use your imagination and come up with something that has more than 1 fold.

Here's a reminder of some of the rules, for a full list click on the Challenge info tab at the top.
1. Only one entry allowed, multiples will be removed
2. Must be a new project, no backlinking
3. Ok to use any image from Yumi & Fumi Handmade as well as Sister Stamps, The Greeting Farm, La-La Land Crafts and we've also added Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. All others will be removed.
4. If you use a Yumi & Fumi Handmade stamp on your project you will receive one extra entry in to the prize drawing.

Rosie and I have our samples ready for your viewing pleasure.  Enjoy!  First up is Rosie and she created this fun gate-fold spring themed card featuring Yumi with Birdie.

Handmade by: Rosie

I wonder if she also did something fun on the inside?  Oh I see some paper on the inside too!!   Head on over to her blog for all the wonderful details.

Now I sorta struggled with this one so please be kind when you comment on mine.  LOL... It might not look like this has multiple folds, but see the triangle at the bottom?  Well , it's the bottom part of the dark brown cardstock.  I folded it in to a triangle.  See the second picture for details.

What prize do we have this week?  Well we're still thinking of something really good.  We've got so many events going on right now with amazing prizes up for grabs that we really need to think what else can we give to the winner of this challenge.  So we'll have an update for you when we finalize the prize.

Challenge #14 ends on Friday, April 26th (Noon, pst).  The rest of the design team will share their mutliple fold creations later in the week.  Make sure to stop by to see what they come up with.

Okay, now it's your turn.  Link up using a direct link to your project because we would really hate to remove it.  Before I sign off I'd like to remind you that we have several events going on.  For all the LOVEly details click on the Spread the Love tab on the top of this page or click on the icon on the top right side bar.

Hope you can join the challenge and also help us spread the love.  If you've got a Pinterest account we'd love you to share your projects with a Yumi & Fumi Handmade image with us as well. Click on the Pinterest badge on our side bar.  And for those of you who are friends on Facebook, we'd love for you to share there as well.  If you have a Facebook page but haven't liked us on Facebook we'd love for you to stop by and Like us.  Click on the Facebook icon on the side bar to start.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs,
Leanne & Rosie
