Challenge #17 All About Dad Reminder

Hello!  Just popping in to remind everyone of our Dad challenge going on right now.  Create any card or project with a Father figure in mind and don't forget to check our challenge rules to make sure your image will qualify for a prize and Top 3 honors.

Here is Denice's most awesome card!  She used Chase but he's looking a bit different, isn't he?  Denice borrowed the cap from Winter Yumi and created a very cool looking dad.  This card also opens up in a fun way so please check out Denice's blog for all the details!

This is my card featuring AJ Lion.  I wanted to use a different kind of image to create a fun card and play around with the sentiment too.

Challenge #11 - Final Reminder

Morning!

Today Sandie and I wanted to share our cards for the current challenge.  We'd also like to remind you that you have until Friday, March 15 (which is tomorrow) to link up your card.  The entries that are in so far are really awesome!!  Love the diversity of everyone's take on Kim's sketch.  You've already seen samples from the rest of our team, including our guest designer, Thanh Vo.  Now it's our turn to share the spotlight.  For all the details on the challenge click on the picture of the sketch in the upper right sidebar.  We hope more of you will come and play. :)

I'm up first and my card was inspired by some upcoming birthday's.  I have been needing more boy type birthday cards, and the sketch was perfect to use.

Boo!

Hi Everyone!

It's Kathy from Pixie Boutique, I'm the guest designer for the month of October and I'm popping in to share today! How is everyone liking the new Kigurumi Kids release?! I got a chance to play with AJ Lion who is such a cutie even though he can ROAR...hehe. 

I used Halloween stickers to make my card POP! I even added googly eyes to my spider can you tell?  LOL.  The fence and moon are both punched out while the background is from my octagon Spellbinder and it's embossed with a web.  Here's a close up of AJ, colored him with Copics.

Inside the card I embossed the word "Boo" onto a cut Spellbinder.

Had so much fun doing this card and you should get going too, because we have a challenge going on that is almost up!
