It's always fun to see how everyone interprets a challenge and I have to say I was very IMPRESSED! Thank you to everyone who participated with such creative and awesome cards.

Shaping up for Mother's Day - Challenge #15

Today Sandie and I will be sharing our shaped cards just in time for Mother's Day.  We all know Mother's Day can represent any Mother figure in your life.  It could be your mom, grandmothers, aunts, friends, girlfriends, even your in-laws or that special lady who you couldn't have become the person you are today without their love and support...  First up is Sandie...

Challenge #15 Reminder!

Hello everyone!!  Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday!  I am just stopping by to remind you of our current Challenge #15 -- Shaped Card for Mother's Day.  We want to see a card that's shaped differently from what you would normally make and dedicate it to your mom or any mother figure in your life that you want to recognize.  Mother's Day is coming up fast so it's perfect timing!

Here is Denice's flower shaped card featuring Yumi with Birdie!  I love the colors here and the beautiful bow!  Check out her blog for more details!

Here is my card featuring Yeti Yumi.  Originally, Yeti Yumi is holding a string of Xmas lights but I added a whole bunch of flower shaped rhinestones to represent a lei or maybe a pretty necklace for mom.

Challenge #15~~SHAPED CARD FOR MOM!

Good morning everyone!! We wanted to say a huge thank you to all who participated in our last challenge!! Be sure to scroll down to see if you are the winner and top 3 if you haven't done so already. :) It's always so exciting to see your amazing creations and we really appreciate all the support and participation.

Today starts a new bi-weekly challenge here at Yumi and Fumi Handmade! Our challenge for you over the next two weeks is to make a:

SHAPED CARD FOR MOM!

Create a different shaped card that you would not normally use just in time for Mother's Day.

Here's a reminder of some of the rules, for a full list click on the Challenge info tab at the top.

1. Only one entry allowed, multiples will be removed

2. Must be a new project, no back-linking

3. Be sure to use an image from Yumi & Fumi Handmade as well as Sister Stamps, The Greeting Farm, La-La Land Crafts and we've also added Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. All others will be removed.

4. If you use a Yumi & Fumi Handmade stamp on your project you will receive one extra entry in the prize drawing.
