Challenge #16 - Anything But a Card Reminder

Today's post is a reminder about the current Anything But a Card (ABC) challenge that's going on right now and from the looks of the Featured Friday post from two days ago, it appears everyone is getting the hang of this challenge. Sadly, I noticed some are forgetting to enter their projects....you can't win if you don't enter and with a fabulous $15 gift certificate to the Y&FH store as the prize, it is definitely worth remembering!

You have until Friday, 5/24 at noon, pst to ENTER.

Eva and I have teamed up to showcase a few more ABC projects with the hopes that they inspire you to create and join us. With that being said, this coming week is the last week of school for Eva's son and she chose to make this thoughtful gift card holder for his teacher using Yumi w/ Bookbag. I think we all agree that Eva should be given an A+ for ADORABLE! You can check out all of the details on her BLOG.  

At the end of July I am hosting a local scrapbook retreat and thought it would be fun to decorate each of the tables with a little "something," but with a total of 13 tables to decorate I started to think it might be wise to combine cute with cost effective.  I think this 5.5" x 5.5" rosette with Fumi w/ Turtle is going to be the perfect solution. And last I found these adorable tags featuring Fumi with Turtle.  These were part of a omiyage (thank you gift) given to neighbors that were nice enough to turtle sit their pets.  So cute Lynn!!

Challenge #15~~SHAPED CARD FOR MOM!

Good morning everyone!! We wanted to say a huge thank you to all who participated in our last challenge!! Be sure to scroll down to see if you are the winner and top 3 if you haven't done so already. :) It's always so exciting to see your amazing creations and we really appreciate all the support and participation.

Today starts a new bi-weekly challenge here at Yumi and Fumi Handmade! Our challenge for you over the next two weeks is to make a:

SHAPED CARD FOR MOM!

Create a different shaped card that you would not normally use just in time for Mother's Day.

Here's a reminder of some of the rules, for a full list click on the Challenge info tab at the top.

1. Only one entry allowed, multiples will be removed

2. Must be a new project, no back-linking

3. Be sure to use an image from Yumi & Fumi Handmade as well as Sister Stamps, The Greeting Farm, La-La Land Crafts and we've also added Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. All others will be removed.

4. If you use a Yumi & Fumi Handmade stamp on your project you will receive one extra entry in the prize drawing.
